We are so proud to have three stand-out individuals with prestigious nominations. Cole Guthrie, Development Manager, and Karen Hannigan, Commercial Leasing Agent, are nominated for “40 Under 40.” Every year the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, Young Professionals Initiative, and CityLife magazine come together to honor and award forty outstanding individuals under the age of forty throughout Northwest Louisiana. 40 under 40 showcases Northwest Louisiana’s outstanding entrepeneurs, executives, managers, and professionals in public, private, or non-profit sectors. Winners are chosen based on achievement, experience and innovation, vision, leadership, and community involvement.
Laurel Brightwell, Commercial Leasing Agent, is one of the 7 finalists being nominated for the 2011 Athena Award. The Athena Award is given by the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and the Bossier Chamber of Commerce. The nominee is someone who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in their business and/or profession, provides valuable service by devoting both time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community, and assists in helping women reach their full potential in leadership. In 2008, Laurel was voted one of the Chamber’s top 40 business professionals under 40 in Northwest Louisiana.
